Packing...

When you are ready to leave 39 years of life behind you and start completely new...there are sooooo many thing to clarify, especially if you live in Germany. The bureaucracy is really 'interesting'. It starts with quitting your job. Afterwards you have to be registered as unemployed and fill out nearly 30 pages of questions. Your bank, where you have your bank account nearly 25 years feels very insecure when you tell them that you are leaving, but you still like to keep the account, you can't easily quit your internet at home, you first need to quit your residence. But to quit your residence you need a signed document from your landlord that you really moved out from your apartment. I really could write much more about all of it...Crazy stuff! So if you are going to plan something similar, start very early :-)
The next big thing is....As I am going to move a lot I only want to have my backpack and my small diving backpack with me. How the hell to put all this stuff (which I am already sure  I am not going to need all) inside? Yoga stuff, diving stuff, some nice pieces of cloths and my painting brushes. My laptop, passport, creditcards and to safe space, I finally bought a kindle (and packed it with yoga books).
At the end I was lucky because a very good friend of mine will take over my apartment including all my stuff. From glass to towel, everything, I only pack some boxes full of my private stuff like photos, gifts and some old dishes, which I collected over the last years during my travels.
And at the end I will pack my life in 2 Backpacks and that's it :-)
It sounds really weird but...Ask yourself how much do you REALLY need to be happy. Is it really a new TV, 10 dresses is the closet or always having the new technology? Meanwhile I know for myself that if you are not happy with less you are unhappier with a lot.
(even it was hard throwing away more than 40 new books, several pairs of high-heels (bleeding heart, CD's and so on......)

First one...WELCOME!

Well this is me now....
This is the first post on my brand new blog (some of you may know my previous travel blog, see link on the right) and I want to skip the usual introduction..My name is..., I am ...years old. Who wants to know? You are as old as you feel and not what a number says. Mine says 39 ;-)
I never felt better than at the moment, maybe this is also the reason I am finally ready to break up with my "normal" life in Germany and move to south east asia to work as yoga teacher.
The idea was many years running thru my head, but I wasn't ready.
It happened one day....on a boat...from Gili Air to Padang Bai..
I had to leave the island after 3,5 weeks...I cried like crazy after having a great time and suddenly I knew. It's time!
Ok..it took me more time than planned, leaving Germany from one day to another when you spent nearly your whole life there isn't easy, killing bureaucracy. Plus a previous boss, who really didn't like my idea. So everything seemed to keep me back there. But it the end I am not a kind who gives up, so I fought agains the walls and....in exactly 5 weeks I am going to pack my backpack and head to India, to finish my second yoga teacher training...
I am not going to tell the whole story in the first post...So keep following me and you will read the whole story.
Why a new blog? First of all I know meanwhile so many people from all over the world, therefore I will write it in english, second I see this part of my life as a brand new beginning so the blog is, too.
Well, this is me....let's get the party started!
